Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center has hundreds of staff members: 95% are volunteers.

We are always in need of volunteers, from office work to legal assitance, or from our once-a-month worker rights clinics, to data entry, we have room for you!

PRO BONO ATTORNEYS, PARALEGALS, AND LEGAL ASSISTANTS

If you are an attorney, consider donating your services. We are always in need of lawyers to help the indigent. We may ask you to take a pro bono case in many fields.

We are in need of immigration attorneys to take cases, especially asylum cases.

Attorneys can also volunteer at our Worker Rights Clinics every last Monday of the month at our offices at 1500 E. Yandell Dr. You must attend the Worker Rights Clinic Orientation before working with this project. For more information, or if you are interested, call (915) 544-5126.

Legal Assistants and paralegals are also encouraged to call us to see how they can assist us in research, our worker rights clinics, and other legal chores.

Importance of sincerity:

Taking the volunteer step is a big one, so only contact us if you are serious about volunteering. The work is big, and the workers are few. We only want committed people that want to fight for social and political justice.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, you can call (915) 544-5126 or fill out the following form.
